On Monday 20 June S.M.A.K. opened its doors for a one-off free event to mark World Refugee Day. Some 500 people found their way to the museum, where they enjoyed concerts, lectures and films.
The book 'Van hier tot daar' (From here to there) was presented to the press and the public and is for sale online and in the museum bookshop. All proceeds will go directly into the development of new artistic projects at Belgian reception centres.
