Visit S.M.A.K. as a group

Together with a guide, you will discover the codes artists use and the different layers and ‘hidden’ messages in the artworks. You can book a guide from Tuesday to Sunday - except Sunday mornings - to explore the ongoing exhibitions as an individual or in a group, with family or friends.

Please note! From 1 January 2026, the rates for guided group visits will increase.

Guided tour for adults

A museum guide will lead you through the exhibition. During a fascinating walking-talk, you get to know one or more temporary exhibitions and go deeper into the themes that the artists bring up.

  • Choose: general introduction OR specific exhibition(s) - please note this in the 'comment' section of the web form.
  • Max. 15pp/guide.
  • Duration: ca. 1,5 hour.
  • Languages: Dutch, French, English, German.
  • Price: 100 euro /guide + admission ticket.
  • Group visits are possible during opening hours except on Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00.
  • You can request a reservation online. Need help with your online request? Call Museum Bookings Ghent 32 (0)9 210 10 75 (from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 17:00)

Coming as a group without a guide? Please let us know! For a free visit with your own guide, we charge 15 euros speaking fee.
