Throughout three events as part of “In The Spotlight: Would You Rather Be a Witch?!” we’re turning the archive into a public process. We invite you to share your own stories and materials alongside the archival documents. Through collective actions such as collage, screen printing, and montage, the individual contributions come together to form a raw, polyphonic whole.
This closing activity combines the collective sewing and assembling of the printed textiles with a public sharing circle. Participants help stitch the individual pieces of fabric together into a collaborative patchwork artwork—a material expression of the diverse voices, stories, and archives that were brought together during the project.
The session ends with a reflective and celebratory moment that follows Walpurgis Night, transforming a historically charged night into a moment of collective gathering and renewal.
