During '10 years of S.M.A.K. Moves', we are giving various partners the opportunity to showcase their work, plan activities or use the museum as their temporary workplace.
What if everyone could be a little more positively aggressive? Vzw Touché believes that the power of anger sets things in motion. Between 13 January and 1 February 2026, the non-profit organisation, in collaboration with S.M.A.K., Kringwinkel Ateljee and Atelier Dada, will present an installation in which imagination emerges from shards. B.O.O.S. S.M.A.K. H.O.O.P. shows that hope appears thanks to the blow and not despite it.
Come and throw and glue
At fixed times, you can come and throw everything out yourself. You can take this literally: bring a bag, plate, glass or vase and come and smash it. Until a big pile of anger is created. Touché would be denying its raison d'être if it did not convert this anger into a positive signal. That is why the hope becomes hope. During the presentation, the shards are glued together to form individual pieces of art. Sculptures of desire and expectation. Shards of happiness, future and perspective.
About vzw Touché
Touché is a Ghent-based organisation that wants to make the world positively aggressive. Anyone with questions about their anger and aggression is welcome at Touché. With solution-focused coaching, training, workshops and campaigns, we work with people to find the optimal “temperature” for their anger. We use the fuel of anger to get things done, changed and improved. In this way, we ensure that aggression does not have to result in destructive violence, but instead becomes a magical force that creates beauty and connection. More info.
