During '10 years of S.M.A.K. Moves', we are opening up the museum to various partners. Here, they will showcase their work, host activities, or use the museum as a temporary workspace.

What do you really see, and what do you think you see? Starting from this question, twenty-two students (fourth-year Graphic Techniques from Don Bosco Sint-Denijs-Westrem) explored how images acquire meaning. Not only through what is shown, but primarily through the creator’s choices: perspective, framing, timing, colour, and context.

Inspired by their visit to Marc De Blieck | Point de voir at S.M.A.K., they took a critical look at photos and images. When do we believe what we see? And how quickly do we jump to conclusions?
