Artists' talk | Heike Pallanca, Haim Steinbach and Susanne Kriemann
During the opening weekend of the exhibition ‘40 Years of Chambres d’Amis’, the three artists, Heike Pallanca, Haim Steinbach, and Susanne Kriemann, will engage in a conversation with co-curator Philippe Van Cauteren.
Artists Heike Pallanca, Haim Steinbach, and Susanne Kriemann participated in Chambres d’Amis, Over the Edges, and TRACK, respectively. Specially for ‘40 Years of Chambres d’Amis’, they were invited to create new installations using archival documents about and artworks from Chambres d’Amis that have since been acquired by the museum.
Philippe Van Cauteren, artistic director of S.M.A.K. and co-curator of the exhibition, will talk with the artists about their new installations, their participation in Chambres d’Amis, Over the Edges, and TRACK, and extra muros exhibitions in general.
