Every first Thursday of the month, S.M.A.K. and Ha Concerts join forces for “Late Thursday”. The museum stays open until 10 p.m., with a free acoustic concert in the entrance hall. Contemporary art and stimulating music come together in an intimate but unique atmosphere.

A S.M.A.K. guide will take you through Marc De Blieck's photography exhibition Point de voir.
Artist Mae Dessauvage (present in the exhibition “Painting After Painting”, until 2 November 2025 at S.M.A.K.) presents her publication “The Dollhouse”, which is being published in collaboration with Tatjana Pieters Gallery, followed by a conversation with Professor Patrick Van Rossem (Art Historian, Utrecht University).
The Barbastelle ensemble, led by bassist Jordi Cassagne, explores a tranquil yet vibrant world in Vestige Étésien. Strings, woodwinds and impressionistic percussion blend chamber music, jazz and free improvisation into a fragile yet powerful whole. It evokes a cinematic hidden world, beneath flowing water, like an ode to transformation and change.
