Letter writing campaign Amnesty International

On Sunday 10 December, MSK and S.M.A.K. will organise a letter-writing campaign for Amnesty International in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

It's burning today; in the world, on our retinas, in our hearts.... People go from outrage to impotence and back again. Respect for human dignity sometimes seems lost. How can humanity serve as a compass for direction today?
Museums are places of engagement. That is why museums are making a joint appeal. On Sunday, 10 December, we endorse that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights gives direction. It has been doing so for 75 years.
Praktisch
- Take a seat at a writing table in the entrance hall of S.M.A.K., and write a card or letter for one of the many Amnesty International causes.
Writing packs are provided by the museum..
- Free of charge.
- Combine your letter with a visit to the exhibitions of Karlo Kacharava, Jan Van Imschoot, Joseph Willaert en Javier Téllez.
