S.M.A.K. presents the Belgian Jan Van Imschoot's first retrospective with The End Is Never Near, featuring more than 80 figurative paintings. Van Imschoot engages in an ongoing dialogue with the past. His work is built around historical themes from literature and art history. And he also bridges the gap with Caravaggio, Tintoretto, Goya and Manet, among others.

Also discover The Letters Project by Joseph Willaert and the video work Caligari und der Schlafwandler by Javier Téllez.
