Especially for primary and secondary education, S.M.A.K. creates lesson plans to talk about and with art. You can visit the Broodthaers Cabinet permanently with the class. In the lesson folder you will find more information about the artist Marcel Broodthaers and discover inspiring and challenging assignments to do with your pupils.
Attention! The Broodthaerskabinet is temporarily closed due to renovation works.
Standing offer: working around refugee issues (PE and SE)
Would you like to teach about the refugee issue or do you have students at school who have fled their homes? Together with the Academy of Fine Arts Ghent and Refugee Council Flanders, we developed a comprehensive teaching folder to work on this theme for a few weeks.
The occasion was the publication of the 2016 book Van Hier Tot Daar, featuring drawings of newly arrived refugees in Red Cross Flanders reception centres.
