Museum Night is back! On Thursday 5 December, all Ghent Museums will open their doors until 1am. Map out your route and be surprised by the many activities!

During Museum Night, you can visit all current exhibitions at S.M.A.K. for free until 1am:

Walk through hell on earth according to Joris Van de Moortel
Discover the flying carpet by Panamarenko
Fall into a deep trance withTsai Ming-liang's films
And finally dive into the S.M.A.K. collection with no less than 3 collection presentations: Presents, Passion x Public Duty and Together
Our Golden Guides will be on hand all evening! Ask them anything you want (yes, even where the toilets are).

Or take part in one of our special activities:

18:00-23:30 | Screen printing
Bring your old T-shirt, totebag or (clean) handkerchief and give them a second life by screen printing an artwork from the S.M.A.K. collection on them
19:00-23:00 | Meditation
Meditate on the films from Tsai Ming-liang's Walker series during short guided sessions. Who knows, you might reach ultimate (art) enlightenment?
20:00-22:00 | Interventions by Eye on Palestine
18:00-01:00 | Drinks & Live set with Tflex, JUS10, Vin Bajraktari and Mistah Matt.
Conclude with a (pre-)drink in the S.M.A.K. café

Leave your big bag or backpack at home or leave it in our lockers
Bring an old T-shirt, tote bag or other piece of fabric to have screen printed
Map out your route via the Ghent Museums website
