Every first Thursday of the month, S.M.A.K. organises a nocturne and the doors stay open until 22:00. Our nocturne on 1 July is considered to be the starting shot of a vibrant summer in and around the museum!
On 1 July you can visit several new exhibitions. 'The Little Catalogue of the S.M.A.K. Collection' contains a collection of works compiled by our youngest audience. The Friends of S.M.A.K. Prize is a national, biennial competition for artists who have recently graduated from a Belgian college of visual arts. In this group exhibition you will discover the work of the three laureates Jimena Chávez Delion, Mark Grootes and Angyvir Padilla.

These are the last days of our exhibition Blind Date. Until 4 July 2021, visit the results of this sculptural exchange between artists and pupils of the BUSO Sint-Rafaël school for the blind and visually impaired in Ghent.
